Free Avalanche Workshops in Vancouver & Victoria

If you're looking at bagging some winter ascents, make sure you're prepared. To help you get started in educating yourself, the Canadian Avalanche Center and Mountain Equipment Co-op are offering a short version of the Backcountry Avalanche Workshop for FREE!

These evening programs that will run approximately 1-1/2 hours. 

Vancouver: Thursday, Nov. 17 (7:00 - 9:00 pm)
Victoria: Sunday, Nov. 20 (all day, held in conjunction with Snowfest)
North Vancouver: Wednesday, Dec. 7 (7:00 - 9:00 pm)
